What a wedding this was! And a long time coming too, absolutely fantastic to be back at Maidens Barn in Chelmsford for the wedding of Trish and Tom!
Starting at Pontlands Park Hotel for some preparations and then on to Our Lady Immaculate Church in Chelmsford for their ceremony before heading to Maidens barn for their celebrations!
So much to love about this wedding, from the details, flowers, ice-cream cart, candy floss and of course the people! Trish and Tom really put their stamp on their wedding and one of the ways hey did this was by incorporating their love for escape rooms, something I have never seen at a wedding 🙂 Each guest upon arrival had an envelope which they took off what would normally be a table plan, this envelope contained their first clue, they would then work they way around the venue until eventually they found the table they would be seated at, in the middle of the table their was a chest which contained one final puzzle which would show where they sit and provide them with their name card! Absolutely brilliant and how they thought it all out and executed it is beyond me!
In to the evening they had stone baked pizza provided by Host catering, ice cream and candy floss! A real relaxed feel to it all, this is where a venue such as Maidens barn really comes in to its own!
I stayed in to the evening and left after their sparklers, this wedding was such a pleasure for many reasons, here are just a few previews from the day!
