A massive privilege to return to Lathcoats fruit farm in Galleywood, Chelmsford, this time for the wedding of Katie and Adam! I first photographed at the farm in 2013 for Katie’s sisters wedding, in fact this is the third time I have photographed for the family as I photographed Katie’s brother James’s wedding in Wales a few years ago so it’s pretty special to be asked back again and see so many familiar faces along with new ones too!
I started the day at the farm house where Katie and the bridesmaids were getting ready whilst the marquee and reception area was being finished in the garden! Lot’s of love went in to this with a good dose of farming within the theme. James seemed particularly pleased with his ‘heart’ arrangement with the apples 🙂
Adam was getting ready at Pontlands park so I popped there for a short while to see what was going on, normal shenanigans as it turned out! The wedding itself was at Saint Michael’s Galleywood Church which is just down the road, again great to be back and this time we had little page boys and flower girls!
Afterwards it was back to Lathcoats farm, the sun was shining yet again, so lucky with the weather as everyone could enjoy drinks in the gardens with entertainment by magician. The polaroid set up was also proving a hit, I do these a lot now and it always proves to be great fun and a trip down memory lane with that nostalgic feel!
Their wedding breakfast was served in the Bee Shed which was dressed beautifully! Not only does The Bee Shed do great food on a daily basis but they done an amazing job catering for this wedding! I stayed until later in the evening before leaving them all to party the night away, thanks so much again for having me 🙂
On with some previews from the day, feel free to comment/share!
