Wedding Photography FAQS

How long will you be with us on the day?

This depends on the timings of your day, but typically from middle of bridal preparations until just after the first dance.

How long will the photographs take and what do you need from us?

Well yes I will need some time from you at some point, but not much, you need 15-20 minutes for your group formals, this is why I keep group shots to around 10, so you and your guests are not left hanging around! And around 20 minutes for your wedding portraits. All you need to do is be onboard, up for it and raring to go! Other than that I like to blend in and capture the day as I see it!

We are getting married abroad or elsewhere in the UK, can you still help us?

Absolutely, all I require is an additional small travel fee and accommodation if its a long journey. If you are getting married in another country then please contact me for pricing.

Can I have my images on a USB?

Yes absolutely. All my wedding collections come with a USB of your images in high resolution for you to print and share.

How long will it take you to edit our photos?

Your full set of images will normally be ready in 3-4 weeks, this can vary slightly during very busy periods and holidays. I do edit them personally, nothing is outsourced (which is becoming very common amongst photographers) and I take a lot of care over them to ensure each image is the best that it can be.

Our venue requires you to have insurance, do you have this?

Yes I sure do, full public liability cover!

Does my wedding photographer need feeding?

Yes, or there is the chance I could drop at any given moment! But in all seriousness, wedding days can be very demanding and are long days, so any food will be much appreciated! If this is a problem though just let me know!

How far will you travel?

Whilst I am based on the border of Hertfordshire and Essex I cover all over the UK. I am also available for destination wedding photography and again, we can discuss this over a coffee should you be interested in this.

Who owns the copyright?

As the creator of the images the copyright always remains with the photographer although you do receive printing rights so you can print and share to your hearts content. I may use a selection of images for marketing purposes but you can opt out if you wish, it’s not a problem.

Do we need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a 25% deposit is required to secure your date and the balance is due no later than 4 weeks before you wedding day.

How can we pay?

I accept bank transfers, visa and master card payments via chip and pin or over the phone

Do I really need a professional wedding photographer?

Yes of course you do!
