What an amazing wedding this was with Alex and Animesh at Gaynes Park, great fun from start to finish. I started with Alex and her family for some early preparations at their family home, lovely relaxed atmosphere whilst everyone had hair and make-up done with much laughter thrown in!
We soon made our way to Gaynes Park to finish getting ready and to catch up with Animesh and the guys who were getting ready in the coach house. With Gaynes Park looking amazing as always and the staff adding final touches to the Mill Barn for the reception, everything was ready! We had true British weather although no spirits were dampened in any way, quite the opposite! So umbrellas at the ready for the long walk through the walled gardens, one of my favourite moments at this wonderful venue to photograph!
After a wonderful ceremony they had reception drinks and canopies along with group photographs, another great thing about this venue is when it’s raining the Orangery is a perfect place for reception drinks and photographs as it’s so bright and airy!
Speeches followed the wedding breakfast with more drinks before the evening shenanigans got under way! Both Alex and Animesh changed outfit’s after their first dance which I knew would work great for an evening shot under the gather barn which you can see above! We took a few more evening shot’s too before the night was out as you will see in the previews below. I have to say even the though the rain was pretty consistent neither of them complained and gave it their all, you can’t ask more than that!
I had been booked till much later in the evening and I can see why, some serious shapes being made on the dance floor, a great party with everyone having the best time!!! Not sure what time it went on till but they were still dancing with ties around their heads as I left! And Animesh’s hat was certainly doing the rounds!!!
A huge thanks to Animesh and Alex for having me along to document their day, I had a great time! And also to Gaynes Park for being so accommodating as usual.
On with some previews from the day, feel free to leave a comment!
