Recently I met up with Kerry and Simon at Hitchin Priory to go through the final plans for the day whilst taking the opportunity to take a few photos around the beautiful grounds. These sessions are done so that  come the big day my clients now what to expect, I find it really helps reduce any photo nerves! They will do just fine on the day, as a bonus one of these images gets printed and presented at their reception for their guests to sign which always goes down well!

Last week I returned to the beautiful wedding venue Prested Hall to photograph the wedding of Jen and Enzo, now I am sure I have said this before but I do consider myself very lucky, I work for the best clients, from the moment I met these guys I new it was going to be a great day! So I arrived at Prested in the morning, Enzo was busy with preparations (blowing up inflatable garden toys) and Jen was starting to get ready in the bridal suite. With a very close eye on the weather a decision had to be made whether or not to go ahead with the outdoor ceremony and after much deliberation it was decided to continue, their rainbow coloured theme obviously helped as the rain was kept at bay and the sun shone, result!  After a beautiful ceremony we did some family groups between drinks and canopies on the lawn, we then took 10 minutes to wonder around for a few portraits of them as Husband and wife!

After a lovely meal it was time for speeches, Enzo didn’t really stand a chance, he had 3 best men taking it in turns! Although to be fair, I though they were quite easy on him! Afterwards we did a few more portraits including the shot above whilst the room was being prepared for the evening reception, all in all a fantastic day with a great couple and superb guests, everyone treated me so well and it was an absolute please to be a part of.

As always the staff at Prested Hall were outstanding and everyone was well looked after, including me! If you are are planning a wedding or if you know someone who is then please get in touch to discuss what I can do for you or pass on my details:)

here are a few photos from the day…. and feel free to leave a message below:)

They don’t know it, but I am a huge Starwars fan!

Recently I met up with Julia and Steve at Coltsfoot Country Retreat where they will getting married in August, we had a good catch up and went through the plans for their day. As always we had a walk around and took some photos, these sessions are simply done so that come the wedding day its not the first time we have worked together and I always find that it helps couples relax, as a bonus one of these images will be chosen to be printed and presented as a signing mat at their reception for their guests to sign which always goes down well!

Elaine and Chris, what a couple! I met up with them on Monday at Down Hall in Hertfordshire for their pre wedding session, we went through their plans again and took a walk around the grounds for some photos, I use these sessions as an opportunity to give some tips and for them to see that its just a bit of fun., or more like they showed me it was just a bit of fun! What a laugh, great couple and an absolute pleasure to photograph, I don’t think there will be a dull moment on the day! As with all my couples one of these images will be printed and presented as a signing board for their guests to sign during their reception.

On with some photos….

Be romantic I said, whisper sweet nothings in to her ear I said…..

Elaine and Chris-011

Last week I photographed the wedding of Suzie and Chris at Braxted Park, I started the day at Suzie’s Mums cottage where Suzie and the bridesmaids were getting ready, everyone was very relaxed and the food and champagne were flowing! They were married at the All saints Church that is situated within the Braxted Park grounds which meant afterwards the guests could enjoy a leisurely stroll back to Braxted Park afterwards while Suzie and Chris were taken for a spin in their wedding car! The weather was beautiful and everyone was clearly having a lovely time celebrating their marriage:)The speeches were fantastic, the best man did a great job with a survival pack for Chris and there was even a game of MR and MRS! Great fun!

I left shortly after first dance (they did a great routine) as everyone was tucking in to the chocolate fountain, energy for the dancing ahead I am sure:)

Here are just a few photos from the day… please feel free to leave a comment below:)
