Tim and Charlotte will be getting married in September so we met up at High Beach for their pre wedding session and go through their plans. The weather was certainly better than my last visit there! All my wedding clients have these sessions as I find it really helps on the day as it means they have already worked with me and know how it works. As a bonus one of these images gets chosen to be printed and presented as a signing board for their guests to sign!

Anni and Gary were married at The Reid Rooms a short while ago and had me along to photograph it for them, starting in the morning I captured some of the preparations before catching up with the guys. They both wanted it to be a relaxed day with close family and friends and they achieved just that. After the ceremony everyone enjoyed an afternoon tea which included a beautiful spread of cakes! And surprisingly we dodged the rain too, result! We even managed to grab this shot above by the water even if they had to battle high winds to do so! Worth the effort though I say.

Here are a few images from their day!

Down Hall Wedding Photos by Matt Heath Photography-039On Saturday I had the pleasure of returning to Down Hall Country House to photograph the wedding of Hayley and Dom on what was yet another hot day! Not complaining mind, it was beautiful:)I started the day with Hayley and her bridesmaids whilst they were making preparations and having hair and make up done, I have to say it was all rather calm…. perfect! The ceremony was beautiful with some lovely readings which was followed by a steel band! The glorious weather meant everyone got to enjoy the sun for the reception drinks and of course made it easy for the group photos on the lawn! We of course had a wonder around the grounds for some portraits and were lucky enough to have a great sky which was perfect for my more dramatic portrait as seen above. A superb meal put on by the Down Hall team was followed by fantastic speeches and they even had the Chocolate Buffet Company putting on a spread for the evening! Looked amazing! The day was perfectly kept on track by Mark GreatBatch their toastmaster, who I highly recommend, he really goes to every length to ensure his bride and grooms have the perfect day and proved to be a great help. They both clearly had the time of their lives!

I had a lovely day photographing Hayley and Dom’s wedding, an absolute pleasure,  if you are planning a wedding at Down Hall or anywhere else, please get in touch via the contact page

Saturday I was at Down Hall in Hertfordshire for the wedding of Elaine and Chris, certainly cant complain about the weather , it was a scorcher! Even if the weather man did predict storms at 4pm, he was wrong! What can I say, such a fun, relaxed day for Elaine, Chris and their guests with never a dull moment, from releasing doves, an exceptional performance from Soprano Bella and even a bit of Mr + Mrs! All in all a fantastic day, some great suppliers come together to help make their day special, lovely flowers provided by Gracie Day, Soprano Bella singing waiters in disguise and evening entertainment by Lovelight, not to mention the superb staff at Down Hall and Mark Greatbatch their toastmaster who as usual kept everything running smoothly!

Here are just a few pics from the day….

On Friday I met up with Claire and Alex for their pre wedding photos at Great Hallingbury Manor, after a good catch up we had a short walk around the grounds for some photos, they will be tying the knot in September and it promises to be a fun and relaxed day so I cant wait! Whilst te main purpose of these sessions is to give them a chance to get in front of the camera before the big day, they didn’t really need it! They will do just fine!
